Communicate Science for a Sustainable Future

Growing up in Sri Lanka, I was fascinated by how paddy farmers timed their planting with the rhythm of the monsoon. Over the years, I noticed those patterns shifting, floods and droughts becoming more frequent. Driven by that curiosity, I explored the field of climate science. Today, as a master’s graduate in Climate Science and Sustainability from University of Potsdam, I work to bridge science and society, making knowledge accessible and empowering communities to adapt to and mitigate climate impacts through informed action.
